Can you feel the CHANGE
in the air? Sure ya can, it’s the winds of getting in shape, finding
fun things to do and meeting new people. I’d like to thank the folks at
Arte Capoeira,
they are great, very welcoming to beginners and something new that I
have been inspired to try. Next weekend is PACKED, you have Havalight (where I will be snaping pics), Limmud, Soul Searching - A Musical and Bnai Zion. The only reason you to stay home is if you need a new job and have to work on that resume. If so, look for a new job here.
If you cannot wait for the weekend, can I suggest making more money? Come to my networking breakfast this Thursday, January 13th at UBS. All of the details are here, you must RSVP on the site (http://breakfastnetworking.com), come on join me!
Many
have asked about options for getting out their events on FEC.
Newsletters, calendars, front page advertising and more, so many
options, so many networks to explore, ask me about all of them today,
just email. Have a great week, and here is to YOUR success! Login now: http://www.michaelfindling.com. See below for all this week’s events.

How is the family? Who ate the most? Who is in the gym right now? The holiday season is in full swing which means you have to be busy, if you’re not - you ARE doing something WRONG. Whether social or business, get out, go to an event, go to a party - don’t say "I have nobody to go with." I guarantee you for all of those that go alone to a party once, never do again.
I’m very happy to be working a good 70-80 hours in the next week as this Wednesday, November 28th, I will be spending the my day at the NY Business Expo. Come down to the Javits Center, booth #405, where I will be speaking on website marketing, business and giving away hourly prizes! Then register for my networking breakfast on December 13th here! Next week is Chanukah, one event I do not intend to miss is the Light the Night for Tsfat Chanukah Event honoring my good friend Ari Zoldan of Launch3.

Now that Jay Gildea (my new nephew) is home in Atlanta have to make those Thanksgiving plans now. Oh, but wait, one holiday to take care of first, HALLOWEEN! This year will be a great one, not only is Havalight going to have the most amazing party after the parade here in New York, but proceeds from the evening will be going to the One Heart Global. One Heart provides financial and mental assistance to victims of terrorism (I myself have directly benefited from this organization post September 11th - and for my friends who could use it, get it, no reason not to get it out in the open).
Once midnight strikes and November 1st rolls in, there will be cake, as I will be turning 30. I really hope everyone will come out and not only boogie with me, but show your support for One Heart and Havalight. Two quick notes before I go.
1. My friend, partner and CEO at SalemGlobal, Raphi Salem is currently working on two projects:
real estate marketing (so if you are in Real Estate, let me know) and raising money for the Alyn children’s hospital. Please sponsor him by clicking on the link below: http://www.alynride2.org/alyn/nws_view_rider.php?id=829.
2. Thank you Kate and Dan for an great camping weekend. Dan and Kate manage
GroundUp Productions, be sure to check out their new show and our camping pictures!

What a week for Findling Events (and SalemGlobal Website Marketing) with the Jewish holiday season coming to a close there was a lot
of partying and eating, praying and eating - from what I hear a lot of eating and drinking! This past weekend it was pure apples for me. Thanks to a tip (thanks Jeff), if you have a chance go 90 miles north of NYC to Barton Orchards. Here you can pick your own apples, tomatoes and yes, Concord grapes - complete with a haunted house. As I was returning from Upstate NY mom called to let me know my sister Carrie had brought a new life into this world, my new newphew (as you can see my niece holding below). And then Sunday was just pure fun and celebrating during the an amazing birthright Alumni event for almost 1000 Young Jews.
Michael Steinhardt, Chairman of the Jewish Life Network, opened up his Bedford, NY zoo and estate (yes I said zoo) to nearly 1000 NYC birthright Alumni. In attendance included Newark Mayor Cory Booker, Lynn Schusterman (of the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Foundation) and Senator Joe Lieberman. All of those fun pics can be found by clicking here!
Next week the final details to my 30th birthday party will be announced. Look for the Havalight Hallowen Party on October 31st, once midnight strikes, I’m 30. Laslty on October 17th I will also be hosting the monthly networking breakfast, if you would like to attend to find new customers or make new connections RSVP at http://www.breakfastnetworking.com.

Work, life, life, work - is a balance we all try to find in our daily lives. Well, what balance? At this point I see the world around most people all integrated into one. Living in New York City that can prove difficult. If you find yourself wondering what it is all about, and the stress just seems unmanagable - first find a fun event at Findling Events, second ask me about private yoga lessons, third, take from a great lesson I heard this past week. Do what is best for you, not what others think is best for you - you have only the time you are given on this great land to do what you need and want, and it’s not often both of those are met. Pick one thing each week and try it out!
Look out in the next week or so for details on my 30th birthday party, looking to not only be a big celebration but hoping to give proceeds to a great charity. And on October 17th I will also be hosting the monthly networking breakfast, if you would like to attend to find new customers or make new connections RSVP at http://www.breakfastnetworking.com. Lastly, check out my friend Erica’s new show, 1001, it looks awesome: http://www.1001nyc.com.

A fall chill has come to New York (Yankees are doing well, and since I’m Pittsburgh, Steelers lookin’ great). But down to business, networking and breakfast, speaking of which, THIS Thursday, if you would like to secure a seat at my networking breakfast please visit http://www.breakfastnetworking.com. I had an amazing holiday meal at the home of Jodi and Gavin Samuels of the Jewish International Connection - check out their events!
Lastly, this is a time of year to reflect on the past and think of the future, maybe even meditate. Yoga is a POWERFUL tool for mediation. I happen to know the best yoga teacher in New York who gives private lessons, email me for details. Either way I hope this time of year finds you well, and you make the most of the time to come.
